Sometimes you jump onto a phone call with nearly a complete stranger, and within seconds instantly connect as if you already knew one another. I immediately felt kindness in Laura, and later, with Josh. These two are wonderful humans with gentle spirits and good hearts. And so, when they asked me to travel to Connecticut to celebrate with them, I was elated.
On the day of their wedding, I arrived at the historic Burr Mansion. As they prepared for the day, rain gently fell, ending just in time for a few portraits and an outdoor ceremony.
Rain on a wedding day means allowing for a flexible schedule, and so, Laura and Josh enjoyed another moment alone for portraits during cocktail, before their big celebration began.
After being announced for the first time as a married couple, they shared a super sweet first dance, and visited with their adoring guests. Upon the ending of a lovely father-daughter dance, desserts and a donut wall were served, while the party continued into the evening.
Laura and Josh not only love another deeply, but their family, too. Having their kids as part of their day meant the world to them. I’m so happy for these lovebirds and the future they get to share together and with their loved ones.
Lots of love!
