For this Columbus wedding, Liz, (who has done incredible work with Catalyst Wedding Co.), and whom I met last spring when she moved to Cincinnati, connected me with her dear friends, Melanie and Audrey. This meant the world to me because as much as I adore Liz, I knew this duo would be just as lovely. Spoiler alert: they 100% are.
Holding their celebration at Strongwater Food & Spirits in Columbus, Melanie and Audrey created an intimate and earthy experience infused with greenery and succulents. With the venue’s industrial and minimalist vibe, it all paired together beautifully. And while I’m often more human focused, I had heart eyes for their details all day.
Melanie and Audrey got ready together (!!!), and laughed and cuddled their way through portraits, just before they rocked photos with their wedding party.
The ceremony followed, complete with a stunning backdrop of Capiz shells, which are common in the Philippines. As fellow Enneagram enthusiasts, they incorporated a toast at the end of their ceremony, inspired by their types, and read by two friends (oh, hey, Liz). This touch was one of the most personal I’ve witnessed during a wedding, and I loved it so much. (More Enneagram wedding infusion, please!) They sealed their marriage with champagne and a kiss!
After a cocktail hour of golden light, their reception went into the evening with speeches, cake cutting, and a first dance that turned into a party.
It was truly a day full of fun and love.
Cheers to forever, lovebirds!
